Which African Animal hides behind this puzzle piece?
This is the Zimbabwean Flag. It consists of seven horizontal stripes in the national colors. Black symbolizes the majority of the people, yellow the richness of iron. Red symbolizes the blood that was spilled during the liberation struggle, from 1966 –1980. Green the plentiful vegetation and Zimbabwe's agricultural side.
The red star on the left stands for hope (taken from Marxist ideology). The star is particular covered by the „Zimbabwe Bird". An ancient symbol of Zimbabwe, which is meant to describe the countries own way in to the future. What do you think the white triangular stands for?

In Africa music play a vital roll. The drums and rhythm instruments are resounding in the church services (and many other places). People are dancing, clapping and singing– a special experience for us!
In Zimbabwe there is a vast variety of musical instruments, one of them is this „thumb piano“. It is held with both hands and played with the two thumbs. What is the name of this instrument?
